Case Study 5: Aussie Students in China
Australia's largest university required a complete program to be tailored for their visiting graduate marketing students. It was key that they had more than just a simple 'tour of China' and that their visits included high level meetings with some top managers from both the ex-pat and the local Chinese communities. They needed to get a sense not only of the Tier One cities such as Shanghai and Beijing, they were also interested in visiting Tier Two cities too.
Not only did they manage to have visits to major firms across China, the level of manager they spoke to at each one was outstanding. From Sales Director at Wahaha to the VP at Alibaba. From the President of Intel to the Deputy Chief Operating Officer at KPMG. The calibre of presenter was great. As if this weren't enough, they also had the opportunity to nominate an industry they were particularly interested in and were presented with 'coffee time with an exec' - 30 minutes of one oneone with an executive from their chosen industry.
