Case Study 3: Top Australian University Students Visit Intel

Who would have thought a group of Grad Students would have had a private lesson from Intel China's No.1 man?

The big challenge for any university group is to not just visit the cities of China but to make all their travel in China unforgettable. While there is no doubt that there are are some great locations in China, this isn't the only reason the Australian students are there. For the most part, they want to create context by meeting senior executives.

You can't get much higher than the CEO.
Imagine the surprise of the students when they turned up to Intel, the world's largest chip maker and Fortune 20 company and were met by the CEO. He spent 13 years in the US before returning to China to head up the Chinese business for Intel. More than one of the studentssaid just how inspiring a speaker he was. If ever there was a chance for the students to create a context with their time in China, then it was this visit to Intel HQ in Beijing.
