Like many businesses, cashflow is everything in manufacturing. This client needed to set up more than just a set of books for the government. He also needed to make sure that he had a set of management accounts that served him well enough to keep the company steered in the right direction. Stock takes were best outsourced, profitability and liquidity ratios were put into place, budgets drawn up and the business never looked better.
