Get a grant to develop new design events that involve cross-disciplinary innovation (e.g. design collaborations between architects and fashion designers).

For who?

• Design companies or businesses that are registered or incorporated in Singapore
• Design-related industry support organisations, trade and industry associations and education institutions

For what?

• To support new events that encourage design collaborations between different industries or verticals such as architecture, fashion, graphics and industrial design
• These events should lead to the development of:
  • design talents
  • design-driven products and services for the global market
  • Singapore’s profile as an international centre for design creativity
• Supported events include festivals, conferences, forums, workshops, seminars, exhibitions, competitions, awards and publications. These events should take place in Singapore.

How much?

Financial Support

• DesignSingapore Council will match the cash raised from corporate/industry sponsors, up to S$50,000.
• Financial support is only given for one financial year. During this time, you must develop and complete the event. If the event lasts beyond 1 year and additional funds are required, you must submit a new application.

Non-Financial Support

DesignSingapore Council will also help to:

• invite guests-of-honour and VIPs
• provide publicity through the web and other media channels
• endorse your company (i.e. you can use the DesignSingapore logo on your marketing collaterals
