For who?

• Singapore-registered companies with:
  • 30% – 100% local shareholding
  • central management and control in Singapore
• Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents above the age of 18 may also apply.

For what?

• To fund the development of character-driven animations that can be used on websites.
• Your project must:
  • result in a live and interactive website that showcases character-driven animations
  • involve the creation of interactive content (using character-driven animations) designed primarily for online delivery
  • be carried out in Singapore

How much?

• Up to S$25,000 for qualifying development costs.
• Examples of major qualifying development costs include:
  • manpower
  • hardware and software
  • intellectual property rights
• The grant is only for qualifying development costs. It cannot be used for ongoing administrative or operational costs of the project.

Things to note

• Do not begin on your digital publishing project until after you have submitted your application. IDEAS – Web Animation may not be used for on-going projects.
• IDEAS – Web Animation replaces the Synthesis Initiative scheme.
