Aims
- To encourage small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the environmental technology industry to build new capabilities that can add new service offerings or significantly improve their productivity.
- To fund the development of new environmental technology capabilities, products and services.
For who?
- All SMEs that are offering or wish to offer environmental technology products and services.
- Your business qualifies as a SME if:
- 30% - 100% of your shareholding is local
- your fixed assets are worth S$0 - S$15 million*
- you have 0 - 200 employees (for non-manufacturing companies)*
*Computed on a group basis. Where 20% - 100% of your shares are owned by other companies, the total value of your fixed assets and employees is calculated 3 levels up. Where your company owns 51% - 100% of another company (subsidiary), your subsidiary’s fixed assets and employees will also be added to the computation.

- You can use EnviroTech CDP for:
- Enterprise-Level Projects – projects that improve your business’ capabilities.
- Industry-Level Projects – projects with other businesses which improve collective capabilities.

E.g. embarking on unique commercial product/process development to address regional market demand. - Clean Or Alternative Energy
E.g. efficient recycling processes converting waste to energy. - Solid Waste Management & Recycling
E.g. projects that increase productivity with process automation. - Air Pollution Treatment & Filtration
E.g. projects leading to a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. - Certification Projects
E.g. ISO14000 for environment management, Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) and Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS). - Enhancing Engineering Services & Systems
E.g. developing efficient process and control instrumentation (PCI) devices and systems.

How much?
- Up to 70% of qualifying costs for industry-level projects and up to 50% of qualifying costs for enterprise-level projects.
- Qualifying costs include:
- manpower costs
- equipment and materials
- professional services
Things to note
- Do not start on your project until your application has been registered with SPRING. Funding will not be given for on-going projects.
Background
- The EnviroTech CDP is the sixth CDP introduced. The 5 previous CDPs were for the Marine, Logistics, Food & Beverage (F&B), Medical Technology and Semiconductor sectors.
- SPRING targets to generate S$300 million in total cumulative value-add over the next 5 years.
