Description

This programme provides financial awards to help people who have been through a homeless situation in the past five years move towards financial independence.

Grants are available to individuals to help them fund costs related to getting back into work, starting up in business or taking part in an accredited training or academic course.

Max amount: £2,500
Eligibility

Applicants must be:

single
over 18
living in secure accommodation
working with a Support Worker for at least six months prior to application
eligible to remain and work in the UK for five years or more
unemployed or earning less than £18,000 in London and £15,000 outside)

Items ineligible for support include:

travel or transport allowances or costs
rent or upkeep
utility costs
repayment of debts
courses outside the UK
basic driving tests and licences
