Get a grant to develop business systems and processes for business excellence.
For who?
* Your business qualifies as long as:
o 30% - 100% of your shareholding is local
o your fixed assets are worth S$0 - S$15M*
o you have 0 - 200 employees (for non-manufacturing companies)*
*Computed on a group basis. Where 20% - 100% of your shares are owned by companies, the total value of your fixed assets and employees is calculated three levels up. Where your company owns 51% - 100% of another company (subsidiary), your subsidiary’s fixed assets and employees will also be added to the computation.
For what?
* To subsidise the costs of developing management systems and processes using the Business Excellence framework.
* The framework ensures systematic and continuous growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
* Your business can participate in 2 phases of SMART to achieve business excellence:
o Phase 1 - The Roadmap
A business excellence consultant reviews and identifies the gaps in your management systems and processes. The consultant then draws up a roadmap to address these gaps.
o Phase 2 - Implementation
You implement the roadmap drawn up in Phase 1 on your own or with the help of consultants.
How much?
* Phase 1 – 50% of the S$5,000 consultancy fee.
* Phase 2 – 50% of the allowable costs of implementation which include manpower, consultancy fees, equipment, materials and intellectual property rights.
