Businesses based in Sunderland can obtain financial support to assist them in easing their rent payments.

Value

The grant will be between 25 and 50 per cent of the rent for up to one year.

Eligibility

To qualify for the grant:

a lease of at least three years must be taken
applicants must be a manufacturing or related service industry
applicants must lease new or larger industrial premises in the private sector
applicants must be creating new jobs
