Design companies can obtain a grant for taking part in prestigious international design events.
For who?
- Singapore-registered design companies with at least one designer who is a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Preference will be given to companies who carry out design work in Singapore.
For what?
- To help emerging designers and design companies increase their exposure and profile by subsidising expenses for taking part in international design events.
- This in turn will help to develop Singapore’s profile as an emerging design country.

How much?
- Financial Support
Dollar-for-dollar co-funding up to S$25,000 for:- exhibition and prototype construction
- production of marketing collaterals
- receptions/promotional activities for media and industry partners
- Non-Financial Support
DesignSingapore Council will also help to:- invite guests-of honour and VIPs
- provide publicity through the web and other media channels
- endorse your company i.e. you can use the DesignSingapore logo on your marketing collaterals
Things to note
- If the event you want to participate in is not pre-approved, you can still approach DesignSingapore. Approval will be given on a case-by-case basis.
